Secret Ceremony of the Ancients

Etymology and trivia
The newly released cards in this set are each a reference and/or remake of a card(s) considered to be staples in the various competitive eras of Yu-Gi-Oh!, ordered chronologically.
Secret Ceremony of the Ancients is a reference to Ancient Rule—a Magic Card with a similar effect related to Normal Monsters.
Its four additional effects are references to four Magic Cards from the early era of competitive Yu-Gi-Oh! considered to be some of the strongest cards at the time: Thunder Bolt, Harpie's Feather Duster, Pot of Greed, and Resurrection of the Dead, respectively.
The monster appearing in the artwork, Kanan the Swordswoman, was also one of the strongest monsters able to be summoned without any sacrifices at the time.
Holy Barrier of the Heart: -Mind Force-
Etymology and trivia
Holy Barrier of the Heart: -Mind Force- is a remake of the Trap Card Holy Barrier -Mirror Force-—another staple in the early competitive scene of Yu-Gi-Oh!.
The artwork is a reference to a scene from Yugi Muto's Duel against Pegasus J. Crawford in Duelist Kingdom—in which Yugi uses Mirror Force in response to an attack from Pegasus's Toon Monsters against his Black Magician.
Its negation effect is a reference to how, just before Yugi activates Mirror Force in the above scene, he uses The Arrow of Magical Effects to redirect the effect of Pegasus's Magic-Nullifying Barrier onto Pegasus's own field—thus negating the effects of Toon World and bypassing the immunity of Pegasus's Toon Monsters.
The Emissaries from the Underworld
Etymology and trivia
The Emissaries from the Underworld is a remake of Gorz, Emissary of the Underworld.
Its artwork depicts the original Gorz together with Kaien, Emissary of the Underworld—each one a reference to a scene from the Yu-Gi-Oh! R manga in which the respective monster is depicted. Kaien is also depicted without her helmet—a reference to an omake in one of the Yu-Gi-Oh! R chapters which first depicted her as such.
Its effects are a reference to several of the plays made by Yugi Muto that involved Gorz and Kaien during his Duel against Masumi Momono in the special chapter of Yu-Gi-Oh! R.
Numbers 101: Silent Honors Ark Knight - Soul Asylum
/Numbers 101: S·H·Ark Knight - Soul Asylum
Etymology and trivia
Soul Asylum is a reference to the effect name of the original Numbers 101: Silent Honors Ark Knight in the Yu-Gi-Oh ZEXAL: Eternal Soul Asylum.
The artwork depicts a scene from the anime in which the original Silent Honors Ark Knight uses its effect by deploying a chain from its body.
Artemite Sky
/Consummate Sky of the Moon Goddess
Etymology and trivia
Artemite Sky is a counterpart to the Magic Card Artemite Slay—with Artemite being a portmanteau of Artemis and ultimate.
Its effect requiring the payment of Life Points in multiples of 800 is a reference to the effect of Goddess Bow of the Divine Calling - Apollousa, which has a similar Life Point cost to its effect.
Dominastia Rose Pamela
/Rose Pamela, the Holy King's Princess
Etymology and trivia
Dominastia (Dominasutia) might be a portmanteau of Dominus—with this card also being a "Dominus" card in name due to the latter being pronounced as Dominasu in Japanese—and dominantia (Latin for "dominance"). Alternatively, it could be a reference to a classical name like Anastasia or Astyanassa.
The title Holy King's Princess is a reference to the kanji subname of Dominus Purge (a Trap Card which this card supports through its effect): Pulverization of the Holy King.
